We have many students who choose to study all three subjects!
What software will I use?
Students have the opportunity to learn how to use a range of software in and out of lessons:
G-Suite - G-Suite allows us to use a range of software online. This means you can work on documents anywhere you have an internet connection.
Microsoft Office - We will build your skills in Office so you can send emails, format a document, create publications, use a spreadsheet to model and a database to store information.
Adobe Suite - We use the adobe suite to edit images, videos and create a range of digital products. Here you will learn how to be creative!
Pivot - We use Pivot to create frame by frame animations. We have lots of fun creating these!
Scratch - We use Scratch to complete block based programming challenges. You will get to make your own movie trailers / games.
Small Basic - We use Small Basics as an introduction to a text-based programming language, You will learn to write your own programmes.
Python - This is the main text-based programming language we use. It is challenging but extremely rewarding when you can independently create your own programmes.
Google Sketch Up - Google Sketch Up allows us to pretend we are architects, as we build / plan our own houses.
Audacity - We use Audacity to edit sound and make our own music.
